David Fugate - CEO
Mr. Fugate has been managing Anesthesia practices for over 30 years. He has experience in both the academic and private practice sectors. Mr. Fugate has been a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) for over 20 years and served as the President of MGMA’s Anesthesia Administration Assembly (AAA) from 1998 – 1999. David also served as a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Practice Management Committee from 1999 – 2004. Mr. Fugate has also provided anesthesia consulting services since 1996. He has provided services to more than 100 anesthesia and/or hospital clients. Mr. Fugate, who holds a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration, has performed numerous speaking engagements at the ASA Practice Management Conferences, as well as the AAA and ASA national conventions.
Gail McClain - Operations Manager
Operations Manager Gail began her career in anesthesia billing in 2002. During her years as a billing specialist, she distinguished herself as an excellent problem solver. She quickly earned her position as a manager by exemplifying core values. Her skills in conquering the billing process and navigating the CMS rules proved to be invaluable. As a critical member of the leadership team at MR-PM, Gail participates in all operational aspects of the company ensuring accurate coding, data entry, claim submission, payment reconciliation as well as provider enrollment.
Curt Little - Controller
Mr. Little is an accounting professional with over 20 years of experience with a broad scope of skills and knowledge of accounting, human resources and benefits management in the healthcare environment. Curt has demonstrated the ability to lead staff members, reduce costs and provide financial analysis to business executives helping to reduce costs and maximize an organization’s profitability. Curt has managed all accounting activities for an 80 physician anesthesia and pain management company with revenue of over $160M. Managed several subsidiaries, including a $3 million; 25 employee billing company. Plan Administrator for Health Insurance Plan, Life Insurance, Long Term Care, Long Term Disability Plans, Medical Reimbursement Plan and Profit Sharing Plan. Mr. Little has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Michigan State University.
Christina Roberts - Coding Supervisor
Christina has over 14 years’ experience in anesthesia billing. She obtained her Certified Professional Coder(CPC) certificate in 2010 and continues to be a member of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) for the last 7 years. Throughout her career, she has shown dedication to her career and the continued education of this field. Her commitment to learn and ability to adapt ensure accurate coding and up to date billing processes. Christina has a complete understanding of the billing/revenue cycle. Her initiative and drive that she possesses have proven invaluable to her occupation.
